Carbon Nanotubes make Easton’s proprietary CNT™ composite
tougher than standard high modulus carbon, making it the ideal
material for a superlight, super strong crank.
Dual Core Composite (DCC™) construction allows incredibly
precise control of the mold process and also creates a stiffness-boosting
spine inside both crank arms
Hybrid Composite Molding (HCM™) combines multiple composite
manufacturing techniques to optimize the resin to fiber ratio,
adding strength and minimizing weight.
Taperwall™ puts the material where it’s needed for
strength and stiffness. Wall thicknesses are thinner in the center
sections to save weight. The transitions between thick and thin
sections are seamless to distribute stress evenly along the length
of the structure. |
